We've all seen the TV commercials advertising free credit reports.  Needless to say, those aren't really free.  But, the federal government has mandated that all of us are allowed to get one free credit report from the credit bureaus each year.  And these truly are free.  Just log onto www.annualcreditreport.com to receive yours.  You won't get your scores, but you will see all of the data that the 3 credit agencies use to generate your scores.  And if the data looks wrong, you can dispute the errors.  If you have questions, feel free to contact one of our mortgage professionals for assistance.
