Looking for Your Stimulus Money
August 19th, 2011 2:11 PM by Mark Groves
I'm sure over the past couple of years many of you have wondered where your stimulus money is. Well, I can't speak for other industries, but as it relates to the mortgage industry there might actually be some "government" help for you. And I'm not talking about the help that requires you to be behind on your payments. This "stimulus" is for those of you who have seen the value of your home decrease. At the government's request, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac along with FHA have developed programs that may allow you to refinance to today's historically low rates regardless of any depreciation you may have seen in your home's value. For more info, contact your mortgage professional or call our office and we'll be glad to assist you.
